We at the Montreal Athlete Mental Health Foundation realize that the battle against mental health issues can last a lifetime. Due to this, if you are someone who is not covered by the foundations we are sharing, these local institutions may help you get started or continue on your journey.

Local Institutions
The Montreal Therapy Center provides multiple forms of therapy in 17 different languages. With over 90 mental health professionals on staff, a wide variety of mental health issues can be addressed. One of the major benefits to this institution is that they provide a sliding scale for individual therapy. This means that the price that is paid for the service is determined by the income of the client. This can result in sessions as low as 60$.
Montreal Therapy
Healing Tree Psychology and Wellness Center
Healing Tree is located in the west island and its specialists primarily focus on cases of depression, anxiety and eating disorder/body issues. The health professionals at this clinic tend to take a more active approach when it comes to therapy. The Mantra of this institution is to fix the crux of the problem, not just manage the symptoms.
Blake Psychology
Blake Psychology has multiple locations ranging from downtown Montreal to the West Island. Of this group's many specialized services, grief counseling is of main importance for retired athletes dealing with the loss of their sport's career. The group also uses a variety of different approaches when it comes to therapy which allows for the therapists to cater to their clients specific needs.
